We remember what things Cambridge wears too often and for too long.

It seems that black ankle boots with a decorative strap on a stable heel from the Aquatalia Rouge brand have been in Catherine’s wardrobe for a very long time. This year she appeared in them during a visit to Wales, and for the first time they were seen on the Duchess 11 (!) years ago, during one of her first official events.

In addition to her love of reusing outfits, Kate also loves things from the mass market. Kate has been wearing a casual plaid dress from Zara with a bow on the collar (for just $20) for at least two years. She appeared in it during a visit to Bradford in 2020, as well as last year when she attended University College London.

Another long-lasting thing in Kate’s wardrobe is a military-style blouse from one of the Duchess’s favorite luxury brands, Alexander McQueen. In November, she wore a white blouse with large gold buttons to visit London’s Imperial War Museum. But this thing got its first release back in 2011, during the Duchess’s trip to Birmingham.

Duchess Catherine during a visit to King’s College in London, March 19, 2019
A minimalistic gray coat dress with a modest black collar and a belt that accentuates the waist was made for Kate by her favorite designer Catherine Walker. This year, the Cambridge woman appeared in it at an event in the company of Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla, in 2020 she wore a coat dress at a service dedicated to the Holocaust Memorial Day. And in 2019, I wore my favorite thing for a visit to King’s College in London.
