And such concepts in stylistics as the types of figures – whether it’s an apple or a pear – are key when choosing outfits. They were replaced by individualization. After all, we all have different height, parameters, physique, as well as self-perception. Which plays a huge role in choosing clothes and finding your own style. That’s what makes us unique. The sixth technique: the right shades
For the waist zone, it is worth using solid cold dark shades. Thus, we visually “distance” the problem areas. A similar effect is also created by the use of matte textures. In addition, you can create a total look in a monochrome combination.
The image will look even more interesting in a stretch of the same color, different shades and textures. This technique not only visually hides problem areas, but also stretches the silhouette and makes you taller. But beware of a monochrome image in warm light shades. They tend to visually expand and make the silhouette more voluminous than it actually is.
Seventh technique: the correct length
Length is another helper in our arsenal for building the necessary proportions. Tops, T-shirts and what will serve as our bottom layer should not fit too tightly to the body. Choose a thing made of high-quality and non-illuminating fabric that holds its shape.
The length in this case should end below the abdomen and cover the groin area if you plan to wear the thing out. Or partially refuel in order to accentuate the waistline, but also not to create an extra-light.
If we use the second layer (jackets/cardigans). Then let them end at the narrowest part of your thigh. So the silhouette will become more elegant and lighter. The opposite effect is obtained if the end of the length is located in the widest part of the thigh or we wear a shortened jacket ending in the abdomen.
Remember: where the length of your product ends, this is where you create the accent. When applying the top layer, the top or T-shirt can be completely tucked into trousers or a high-rise skirt.
