It is believed that the body works optimally if the acid-base balance is maintained (the blood pH level should normally be between 7.35 and 7.45 — this is a more alkaline environment, whereas the acidic environment should be preserved in the stomach). Therefore, a clear bias towards alkalinization can be harmful. On the other hand, if you actively lose weight, a lot of decay products are formed in the blood, and alkaline products can contribute to additional detox. 

It is also useful to drink half a liter of warm ionized alkaline water on an empty stomach — it is easy to get it with the help of alkaline filters. The best are Japanese. And in general, it’s good when the diet consists of 50% carbohydrates, 25% protein and 25% fat – I consider this ratio to be the golden rule of nutrition. Any distortions can harm health.”
