Italian designers showed what things, shoes and accessories we will be wearing in six months.
Ambush, Prada, Versace, Alberta Ferretti
Milan Fashion Week has shown that feminine silhouettes are returning to fashion, and designers are betting on a bright palette of shades and things out of time. We tell you about the most important trends of autumn-winter 2022/23 from the catwalks of Milan Fashion Week.
Fendi, Dolce & Gabbana, Roberto Cavalli
Transparent fabrics, corsets, bustiers and bras are important components of everyday and weekend looks in the autumn-winter 2022/23 season. Lingerie aesthetics inspired designers to create crop tops, corsets and combinations that will be appropriate both in the office in combination with a voluminous jacket and suit trousers, and on a date with heeled sandals or rough boots.
Prada, Etro, Capasa Milano
Rihanna’s favorite wardrobe item just couldn’t help but become the main trend of this year — the singer wears them almost every day. In their new collections, designers have rethought the classic design of the bomber, adding floral appliques, prints, beads and sequins.
Ambush, Etro, Tod’s
From classic sets with a jacket, to sets with a crop top and a midi skirt, suits continue to hold leading positions. Only after six months, the usual twos will be replaced by spectacular suits with trousers, jacket and coat, threes with a vest, as well as sets with a skirt or shorts. Costume fabric will give way to corduroy, velvet and knitwear, like Gucci and Etro.
Etro, Roberto Cavalli, Alberta Ferretti
Fringe is one of the most popular trends of the next autumn, which has swept throughout the fashion month. In Milan, designers decorated dresses, skirts and ponchos with fringe, complementing the already bright and catchy things with sequins and in a colored cage.
Dolce & Gabbana, Diesel, Max Mara
This color is usually associated with the spring-summer season, but Italian designers decided to add bright shades of yellow to our autumn-winter wardrobe, showing flashy coats, dresses, sweaters and trousers in rich tones.
Versace, Sportmax, Versace
A pair of yellow things will be red, although many fashion houses have bet on total bows. So, Max Mara showed luxurious dresses made of red patent leather, which are advised to be worn with tights and matching shoes, Versace presented fashionable combinations with a corset, latex leggings and high-heeled shoes, and Bottega Veneta presented spectacular pantsuits made of red leather.
Prada, Jil Sander, Alberta Ferretti
Fans of minimalism and adherents of the basic wardrobe will like new items in a shade of camel. Designers have relied on impeccable coats that will last for many years and will not go out of fashion.
Jil Sander, Sportmax, Max Mara
In this fashion season, there were many references to the classic women’s wardrobe on the catwalk. The fitted cut has also returned. In the performance of Jil Sander, Sportmax and Tod’s, single-breasted and double-breasted jackets and coats received a clearly defined waistline.
Fendi, Sportmax, Diesel
This accessory already returns to our wardrobe every autumn. But in the new season, colored leather and high gloves become not so much a necessity in the cold season, as a stylish element of images. Gloves can be combined not only with down jackets and coats, but also with linen-style dresses and short-sleeve tops, as well as matching a repeating print to suits and jackets, as at the Roberto Cavalli show.
Dolce & Gabbana, Roberto Cavalli, Blumarine
Creative directors of Dolce & Gabbana, Blumarine and Roberto Cavalli are sure that evening and casual dresses should give way to tight jumpsuits. The designers showed spectacular translucent figure models that will definitely appeal to Megan Fox and Hailey Bieber, printed jumpsuits that Gigi Hadid already wears, as well as calmer monochrome models with a bold neckline and neckline.
Diesel, Alberta Ferretti, Bottega Veneta
Russian fashionistas will be delighted with the new trend from the Milan catwalks. Designers are officially bringing fur coats back into fashion, although this time they are turning to artificial and eco-friendly alternatives to natural fur. In autumn and winter we will wear colored fur coats during the day, and classic fur coats in shape and color in the evening.
